The Historical Review of Harvard College
About Us
Tempus: The Harvard College History Review is the undergraduate journal of the Harvard History Department. The journal was founded by Adam G. Beaver and Sujit M. Raman in 1998 to publish original historical scholarship by undergraduates so that all students can learn from their peers. We also sponsor history events to promote undergraduate community within the Department. In the spring of 2009, Tempus transitioned to an online format. After a brief return to print from the spring of 2013 to the spring of 2019, and a second digital stint during the COVID-19 pandemic, Tempus is now a hybrid publication with both digital and print issues.
